Chinese Stir Fried Rice
Since a large portion of maize crops are grown for purposes other than human consumption,
rice is the most important grain with regard to human nutrition and caloric intake,
providing more than one-fifth of the calories consumed worldwide by humans.
China is the world's largest producer of rice, it accounts for 26% of all world rice production.
Fried rice is a common staple in American Chinese cuisine, especially in the form sold as fast food.
This Chinese fried rice has the flavor those other recipes are missing.
1: Rice 4 cups
2: Onion 1 small (finely chopped)
3: Cooking Oil 2 cups
4: Egg 1 (lightly scrambled)
5: Soy sauce 2 tbs
6: Sesame oil 1 ts
7: Chicken breast 500g (cut in cubes)
8: Mix Vegetable 2 cups
9: Spring Onion half cup (finely chopped)
10: Pan Sprouts 1 cup
Boil the Rice in a large pan of boiling water, when the rice are all boiled drain them and put them on the side.
Heat 2 tbs oil in a wok and put onions in and cook on a low to medium till the onions are brown and take the onions out and put them on the side.
Now put 1 ts soy sauce and 1 ts of sesame oil in the scrambled egg and mix well,
put 1 tbs cooking oil in the wok, put egg mixture in and stir it fast till its cooked, take the egg out and cut it (egg) in bite size pieces,
heat 2 tbs of cooking oil in the wok and put chicken pieces onions, Mix Vegetables in the wok and stir fry for about 3 minutes.
add boiled rice, spring onions, pan sprouts and stir fry for about 4 minutes.
add rest of soy sauce and egg piece stir fry for few minutes .
