Qeema potatoes recipe

Qeema with green peas and potatoes

Today we are going to share with our respected reader one of most delicious recipe.
Qeema rice with chickpeas, Qeema is traditional south asian meat dish and it can be made from almost any meat.
In Indian subcontinent Qeema is used for so many different dishes, like Qeema curry, Qeema samosas, kebabs, Qeema naans.


1: Mince meat 500 grams
2: Potatoes 2 medium peeled and chopped
3: Green Peas 1/2 cup
4: Onion 1 large chopped
5: Ginger & Garlic paste 1/2 tbs
6: Green chillies 3 crushed
7: Vegetable oil 3 tbs
8: Turmeric 1/2 ts
9: Garam Masala 1/2 ts
10: Tomotos 2 chopped
11: Red chilli powder 2 ts
12 Salt to taste
13 Lemon juice 1/2 ts
14 Yogurt 1 tbs


In a pan add oil, onion and cook till onion is transparent and soft.
Add Ginger & Garlic paste, Green chillies, Turmeric and cook for about 3 minutes on low to medium.
Add Tomotos, Red chilli powder, Salt, Lemon juice, Yogurt and cook for about 3 minutes add some water as well.
Add the mutton mince cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add Green Peas, Potatoes cook for 3-4 minutes
Add Garam Masala Cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
Add 1 cup water. Cover and cook till the water evaporates and the mutton is well done.

Serve with Naans or Chappaties.
